ChatGPT is teaching us many things. Most people are now playing around on the potential benefits of such a big step forward. I can’t stop fancying up different questions for ChatGPT, can you? It’s really intelligent and it provides awesome answers to smart questions. I’m pretty sure that some of you are even taking it to bed to sleep with you. Slow down, please. The OpenAI network is showing errors because you can’t stop using it…
However, there is something I love about all this: no matter how many answers you get, what is important is the attitude to provide solutions. This is even in the core of our lives: we have the attitude to provide solutions for a meaningful life. We fall down and we get up. We lose and we try again to win. If we face up the unknown, we learn to be part of it. This is it, and it is at the core of why ChatGPT seems to be the perfect partner to share a flat with. We all have questions for which having an accurate answer or a praiseworthy hint would be perfect, and this flatmate would always have the attitude to help us, reducing drastically the efforts we need to put in place.
Aptitude makes you get hired; Attitude makes you get promoted.
So what can ChatGPT teach us apart from access to lots of data in a human-friendly manner? Don’t forget it. It’s quite important. Simply, attitude is essential to move forward. As an old friend once told me, “Aptitude makes you get hired; Attitude makes you get promoted”. No matter how many errors you make, or how difficult a task is, acknowledge the reality, learn from it and keep moving forward. Even Artificial Intelligence and the most up-to-date NLP technologies know it. And ChatGPT does know it too. Here’s a good example of it.
I asked ChatGPT to evaluate a translated text, but it made a mistake. Artificial Intelligence is not perfect. Not a new thing. What happened next? An error is never a problem. It is an opportunity to learn and keep moving forward. The problem is the lack of attitude to fix it!!!
Note: I liked so much the last response that I made a loop with it. So there you have 5 perfect answers to send to your project manager when you make a mistake (attaching also the fixed document!)
And the loop with 5 more responses!
